Developer's API

Connecting your own application to a PPT is extremely simple. PPT supports the standard VRPN 6 and 7 protocols which are used by a wide variety of 3D applications. If you wish to interface to PPT via an RS-232 interface, WorldViz provides sample source code for both Windows and Linux operating environments. In all cases, connecting to a PPT simply involves interfacing via serial RS-232 and accessing the data either in a streamed or polled manner.

Please do not hesitate to contact support@worldviz.com for further details.
