Here is a punching demo you might have seen at a conference - make sure you are running Vizard 2.15 or higher. Make sure sound is on when running it.  It's a head/hand tracked simulation in which you can hit walking avatars with your fist to defend yourself. The original demo was made for the I/ITSEC conference in December 2003.
